WELCOME TO EKRAM FOUNDATION
EKRAM Foundation is a Non-government Organization has been started its functioning since January 2013. The organization has been working with the rural landless and marginal, poor male and women people, organizing them into groups in order to improve their socio-economic condition of life. The present area of operation of the organization includes are Dhaka, Barisal, Patuakhali and Netrokona districts.
At start up of functioning of the organization the major intervention was the distribution of credit to the limiting the target beneficiaries of the Barisal district. With the piloting of credit advancement at the local nearby area, EKRAM gained experience and expanded its activities eventually. About 2200 members have been registered with EKRAM into groups so far. Awareness development, Family Planning interventions, Health and Sanitation promotion, Mass Literacy Program for the adult and IGAs interventions with micro credit advancement are the main of field within which EKRAM has been working in the way.
